Labor Day, is a Federal/ national holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September which commemorates all of the working class of people both past and present. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
