On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, America witnessed and watched on live television, thousands of Americans and other people sent into eternity by an act so brutal and so devastating. Do you remember where you were on Sept. 11, 2001? Most people remember and everyone can tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing. Some say that it was a day they will never forget. Here are a few recollections that had occurred:
An appreciation of spirituality emerged as Americans examined just how fragile life was and evaluated what was really important. Since answers were hard to come by in the months that followed the attacks, many filled churches and searched for God. The expression, “God Bless America” has become a favorite catch phrase which brought a deeper surge of patriotism along with the American flag has made one feel proud to be an American.
